A cyberattack on September 19 targeted Collins Aerospace’s MUSE check-in and boarding software, disrupting operations at several major European airports including Brussels, Berlin Brandenburg, and London Heathrow. The attack forced airports to switch to manual check-in and boarding, causing significant flight delays.
Collins Aerospace confirmed it is working to restore full functionality and noted that the issue was limited to electronic check-in and baggage drop systems. Paris-area airports (Roissy, Orly, Le Bourget) reported no impact. Airports advised passengers to check flight status and apologized for disruptions.
