Hack at Allianz Life impacts 1.1 million customers, breach notification site says

A late-July cyberattack on Allianz Life compromised personal data of about 1.1 million U.S. customers, according to breach notification site Have I Been Pwned. The stolen data includes names, addresses, phone numbers, and emails. Allianz previously confirmed that information belonging to most of its 1.4 million customers, financial professionals, and employees was taken. The company is still investigating and will provide two years of identity monitoring to affected individuals. This incident is part of a broader surge in major cyberattacks, including recent breaches at Microsoft and UnitedHealth Group, the latter affecting 192.7 million people in the largest U.S. healthcare data breach to date.
